I’m Josh Withers, a marriage celebrant who believes your wedding ceremony should feel like the best part of the day, not the bit everyone has to sit through before the drinks start.

I’ve been marrying people since 2009, and after thousands of weddings I still approach each one the same way: get to know you, understand what matters to you, then create something that feels natural, personal and genuinely worth being there for.

I don’t read a generic script or tell your life story like a Wikipedia article. My ceremonies are conversational, relaxed and largely unscripted. I create the space for you to actually experience what’s happening rather than perform a wedding for everyone watching.

I work across Brisbane and South East Queensland, from the Sunshine Coast and hinterland through Brisbane, Ipswich and Toowoomba, down towards the Gold Coast. I travel further too.

If you want a celebrant who’ll take the marriage seriously without making the ceremony overly serious, we’ll probably get along.
