I’m Josh Withers, a Christian marriage celebrant working across Brisbane and South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast, helping couples create wedding ceremonies that honour God while still feeling personal, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable.

I’ve been marrying people since 2009, and I work with Christian couples from all kinds of church and faith backgrounds, including Catholic, Pentecostal, evangelical and non-denominational communities.

For me, faith isn’t something we awkwardly bolt onto your ceremony with a Bible reading and call it Christian. I want to understand what you believe, what marriage means to you, and how you want God acknowledged as you make these promises to each other.

That might include prayer, Scripture, worship, communion, a blessing, or involving your family, friends or pastor. Or it might be much simpler. The important thing is that your faith is expressed honestly and naturally, in a way that belongs to the two of you.

My ceremonies are conversational, relaxed and largely unscripted. I believe marriage is sacred and worth taking seriously, but that doesn’t mean your wedding needs to feel stiff or overly formal. A God-honouring ceremony can also be joyful, funny, emotional and full of personality.

I work across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and hinterland, Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, the Sunshine Coast and surrounding parts of South East Queensland.
