I’m Josh Withers, a marriage celebrant who believes your wedding ceremony should feel like the best part of the day, not the formal bit you need to get through before the celebration begins.

I’ve been marrying people since 2009, and my approach is pretty simple: I get to know you, figure out what actually matters to you, then create a ceremony that feels like the two of you.

There’s no generic script, no awkward retelling of your relationship from a questionnaire, and no pretending I’ve known you since childhood. My ceremonies are conversational, relaxed and largely unscripted. You get to be present, make meaningful promises to each other, have a laugh when it happens naturally, and actually experience the moment you get married.

I travel to Canberra and across the ACT for weddings, as well as the surrounding region, including places like Murrumbateman, Yass and the Southern Tablelands.
