I’m Josh Withers, a Hobart marriage celebrant based just down the road in the Huon Valley. Tasmania is home, so whether you’re getting married in the city, beside the Derwent, at a vineyard, on a farm or somewhere that requires a slightly questionable dirt road, I’m there.

I’ve been marrying people since 2009, and I believe your ceremony should be the best part of your wedding day, not the formal bit everyone politely sits through before getting to the good stuff.

My ceremonies are conversational, relaxed and largely unscripted. I get to know you beforehand, understand what matters to you, then create a ceremony that feels natural in the moment. No generic scripts. No awkward questionnaire turned into your “love story”. No performance of what somebody else thinks a wedding is supposed to be.

I work across Hobart, the Huon Valley, the Channel, the Coal River Valley and southern Tasmania.
