I’m Josh Withers, a Tasmanian marriage celebrant who travels across Launceston and Northern Tasmania for weddings.

I’ve been marrying people since 2009, and I believe your ceremony should be the best part of your wedding day. Not the formal bit everyone politely waits to finish before getting to the celebration.

My ceremonies are conversational, relaxed and largely unscripted. I get to know you beforehand, understand what matters to you, then create the space for you to actually experience getting married. No generic scripts. No awkward questionnaire turned into your “love story”. And no performing a wedding just because tradition says that’s how it’s supposed to look.

I travel throughout Launceston, the Tamar Valley and Northern Tasmania, from vineyards and farms to estates, private properties and those ridiculously beautiful Tasmanian places that don’t really need much decorating.

If you want to be present, laugh when something’s funny, make promises that actually mean something and walk away thinking, “That was very us”, that’s the kind of wedding I love creating.
