I’m Josh Withers, a Christian marriage celebrant working across Sydney and Greater Sydney, helping couples create wedding ceremonies that honour God while still feeling personal, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable.

I’ve been marrying people since 2009, and I work with Christian couples from all kinds of church and faith backgrounds, including Catholic, Pentecostal, evangelical and non-denominational communities.

For me, faith isn’t something we need to awkwardly bolt onto your ceremony with a Bible reading and call it Christian. I want to understand what you believe, what marriage means to you, and how you want God acknowledged as you make these promises to each other.

That might include prayer, Scripture, worship, communion or involving your family, friends or pastor. Or it might be simpler. We’ll create something that genuinely reflects the two of you and your faith.

My ceremonies are conversational, relaxed and largely unscripted. Marriage is sacred and worth taking seriously, but your wedding can still be full of joy, laughter and personality.

I work across Sydney, from the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs to Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains and down towards Wollongong.
